I’m already halfway through the CPTS path. I’ve learned a lot, from password cracking to Active Directory. The layers keep getting peeled back. I really like how comprehensive and well-explained everything is. I just wish there was an easier way to summarize everything. That’s why I’m using Obsidian for notetaking now. It’s been a big help. Most of the time I just download PDF copies of pages and then plug it into my vault.
Besides the CPTS path, I’ve also been doing some modules from the CDSA path. Since I started doing HTB, I’ve joined 2 CTFs now. They weren’t just strictly offensive stuff, but also a lot of forensics. I wish I had more time to do everything. Searching for a job has still been a struggle, but I’m still holding on. I think my skills are getting better. I’ll try to do more CTFs while I look for something at least close to cybersecurity.
